Tarleton to host softball camps

Following a run to the WAC Tournament title game in the Texans’ first season of postseason eligibility, Tarleton State Softball announced three camps on Wednesday.

BROWNWOODGOOD. Water slightly stained; 84 degrees; 0.44 feet above pool. Black bass to 4.50 pounds are good in 3-15 feet of water on Hag’s swim jigs in white or green pumpkin and topwaters. Bass are in a summer pattern with some schooling on flats and points.

Dublin hoops split wins

The Dublin summer basketball boys split wins at Huckabay Thursday, June 19 and at home Monday, June 23.In the June 19 games, Dublin squashed Santo 68-17 and fell to Huckabay 81-65.

Runners hoof it in Stampede

The Dublin Lions Club hosted the annual Irish Stampede10-5-2k Saturday, June 14 with proceeds benefitting the activities of the Lions Club in supporting the local community and youth.Prizes were awarded to the top 3 runners overall and in each age group.
