Fishing Report

BROWNWOODGOOD. Water slightly stained; 73 degrees; 0.49 feet above pool. Black bass to 8.01 pounds are slow in 5-15 feet of water all around the lake. With fish moving offshore cast Hag’s Tornados in green pumpkin, Tsunami Jigs and spinnerbaits. The last spawning wave is about done.

Little Lions to hit diamond

It’s time for all the Lion and Lady Lions to shine on the diamond as the baseball and softball camp will be held May 20-May 22 and Dublin Secondary School.The camp is open to kids who have completed first grad to kids who have completed 9th grade and will be from 9 a.m. to noon each day.

LISD adopts calendar

The Lingleville ISD School Board adopted the 2025-26 school year calendar in the Thursday, April 10 regular meeting.LISD superintendent DeeCee McDougal reported staff input was sought on the calendar and the model approved by the board reflected what was most requested.

Dublin Elementary is Wrapping Up the School Year with Fun and Celebration!Wow! It’s hard to believe, but there are only a few weeks left in the school year, and they’re shaping up to be some of the most exciting yet.

GOOD. Water slightly stained; 67 degrees; 0.49 feet above pool. Black bass up to 8.36 pounds are excellent in 1-5 feet of water all around the lake in spawning pockets on Hag’s Tornados in green pumpkin, Tsunami Jigs and White Outlier Frogs. Last spawning wave has moved up on beds.
