DJH runners place high

The Dublin Jr. High Cross country teams ended their season with a strong showing in district competition at Dublin on Oct. 12. This includes a 3rd place team finish for the 7th grade boys and a 4th place team finish for the 8th grade boys.

Master Naturalists offer new class

The Prairie Oaks Chapter of the Texas Master Naturalist (TMN) program will offer a new Spring Class beginning Jan. 18, 2023. Registration for the class will officially open online at https:// txmn.org/ prairieoaks/ 2023- springtraining/ on November 1, 2022.

Lions battle Badgers in opener

The Dublin Lions opened district play at Merkel Friday night, falling 51-25 in a fierce bout with the Badgers. The Lions kept fighting until the final moments of the game despite facing several setbacks in injuries and penalties throughout the game.

DHS runner headed to Regionals

Dublin High School cross country runner Yesenia Osoria is heading to regionals after placing 8th in district competition at Dublin Monday. Head XC Coach Wes Grisham reported the Dublin runners have been working hard for a good showing at this event.

Great things are happening at Dublin Intermediate School. Students are working hard on academic grades, AR certifications, and House points. Our 6th grade House Leaders have been nominated and have met to plan future House meetings.

The Jr. High Dublin Lion teams rang the victory bell again after beating the Merkel Badgers in away games Thursday, Oct. 6 7th Grade The Dublin 7th Grade Lions moved to 1-0 in district after shutting out Badgers on the Merkel field 30-0 on Thursday. (They are 4-1 for the season.
