Lady Lions close season

The Dublin volleyball Lady Lions ended their season Oct. 25 in a home game against the Breckenridge Lady Bucks. The game started in fierce fashion as the visitors only barely edged out the Lady Lions 29-27.
Dublin Lady Lions started their season strong with a scrimmage against DeLeon in the Dublin gym on Saturday, Oct. 28. The Dublin Lions fell 35-27 to the Eastland Mavericks, but made a strong push and showed improvements as they squared off on the Eastland field. “Defensively, we pursued the ball well,” said athletic director and head football coach Greg Hardcastle. “We want to continue to build on that.

Dublin fans crowded around the Corner Lot Saturday morning to wish the Sound of Dublin Band luck as they traveled to Denton for the Area B competition after receiving Division 1 ratings at Regionals with their ‘Alien Invasion’ routine.

The Dublin Lions are looking for a district win Friday as they head to Eastland to take on the Mavericks at 7 p.m. “Eastland is 0-8 but preseason was pretty brutal,” said Lions head Football Coach and Athletic Director Greg Hardcastle. “They’re a pretty young team as well.
