The Lingleville Cardinals played for the championship title in the Santo tournament after claiming wins over the Sidney Eagles (42-26) and the Merdian Yellowjackets (36-28). In the final game, the Cardinals took on the Huckabay Indians in a competitive match.

The Dublin Lions went 3-2 in the Brady tournament last week. The Lions claimed victory over Eldorado, Abilene High JV and San Saba but fell to Jayton and Llano.

Crappie are slow on minnows in brush piles in 12-15 feet of water. White bass are slow on jigs. Catfish are slow drifting with cut shad.

Lions take silver in tourney

Dublin Boys claimed silver in the tournament hosted at Dublin last week. With two big wins over Clifton Thursday (81-67) and Brownwood Friday (82-69), the Lions made their appearance at the championship game against Tolar where they fell 63-32.
