Lady Lions 1-1 after Early victory

The Dublin Lady Lions were 1-1 in District following a Friday night victory over Early at home. The game started out with some give and take but the home team started hitting their stride in the second quarter and was leading 28-21 at the half. The finals score was 58-40 in the Lady Lions’ favor.

Lady Lions named All-District

Ten Lady Lions were honored this week as All-District selections were announced for the 2022 volleyball season. “I would like to say that I am very proud of each one of these girls and all their hard work they put in,” said head Dublin volleyball coach Arin Knight.

Fourteen Dublin Lions received distinctions as the All-District teams were named for 5-3A D-11 this week. Athletic Director/ head Dublin football coach Greg Hardcastle was pleased to see some of his players recognized. “It’s nice to have some of our younger guys recognized,” he said.
