The Dublin Lions showed fierce fight on Friday and Saturday facing Comanche and Breckenridge after a weeklong break without practices due to the ice storm. On Friday, they faced a tough 60-46 loss to the Indians at Comanche.

It’s time! The 5th annual Love Run 5K and Mile Fun Run is set for this Saturday, Feb. 11 and there is still time to dig out your running (or walking) shoes and participate. The run will support Transformation Pathway, Dublin’s local Christian Women’s/Men’s Job Corps ministry.

Dublin powerlifters traveled to Hico on Thursday, Jan. 26 and snagged many medals as the lifters improved from the totals lifted in the Dublin Invitational meet the weekend before. Girls led the pride, taking first place as a team while the boys team took 4th place.

The Dublin Lady Lions were continuing to show growth as they headed into this week’s game following a tight match against Millsap on Friday, Jan. 27. “We had the best defensive game of the season,” said head Lady Lions basketball coach Kim Perez.

The Dublin Lions bested Millsap in an 65-58 away game against Millsap on Friday, Jan. 27. “The guys played well together and as a team” said head Lions basketball coach Wes Grisham. “Defense looked solid and caused turnovers for fast breaks.
