The Lady Lions softball team had a busy week facing tough opponents and growing as a team.
On March 7, they faced Brock in a 17-0 away loss.
“We started off really strong and fought against Brock,“ said head Lady Lions softball coach Teryl Dunn. “We had one inning that taught us a lot and we used that to hold strong in the rest of the game.”
The Lady Lions returned to the Dublin diamond Friday in a 10-0 loss against Early which started with strong defense for both teams. Although Early broke away by the fourth inning, Dunn said her team was focused and was able to eliminate many errors seen in previous games.
The Dublin girls followed this with a 24-3 away defeat to Peaster.
The Lady Lions were set to face Millsap at home Wednesday in a bid to continue growing as a team and refining their game as they go deeper into district.
