A total of 85 runners hit the Dublin streets early Saturday for the annual Shamrock Shuffle organized by Titan Fitness.
It was a cold and dark start for the runners as they crossed the start line in pitch dark at 7 a.m. with a temperature of about 40 degrees Fahrenheit.
The runners were all smiles though as day broke and they crossed the finish line.
As in years past, Titan dedicated the proceeds to a local cause and elected to provide a portion of the proceeds to the family of the recently fallen veteran and Dublin volunteer firefighter Jesse Rollins.
Trophies were presented to the top three men and women in several different age divisions. (See runsignup.com/Race/ Results/39973 for full results).
