The Dublin ISD community and the town are in mourning after the loss of Dublin High School senior Jordan Sanchez. Jordan was killed in an accident April 4. “He was a very sweet and kind hearted young man who was well liked by many. He was very intelligent and worked hard.

Rodeo Heritage Museum Board to meet The Dublin Rodeo Heritage Museum Board will meet tonight (Thursday, April 6) at 6:30 p.m. at the museum. The board meets the first Thursday of each month and interested parties are invited to attend. The museum is located at 118 West Blackjack Street.

D. C. Arthur was the Dublin School Superintendent during the early 1960s. In an article he wrote in March 1961 he mentioned the school bell that was used as a victory bell during athletic games.

Comanche to host Easter shopping event

This Saturday, April 8, Comanche will host a Shop N’ Hop on the historic Comanche Square from noon to 4 p.m. There will be Easter Bunny photo ops, food trucks, free kids activities and the opportunity to win prizes.

POLICE LOG

March 20 There was a residential alarm in the 500 block of Grafton Street. An officer checked the shed and there was no damage and nothing taken from the property. Home owner advised the wind blew the door open. March 21 An open door was spotted in the 100 block of South Patrick at a business.
