Time to register for Stampede Dublin Lions Club is once again planning their annual Irish Stampede for the second Saturday in June. This will be the 22nd annual run in celebration of Dairy Month set for June 10 at 7:30 a.m. for the 10K and 5K with a 2K to follow completion of the longer runs.

Trudy Spears was joined by a friendly group of fans on May 26-27 as they celebrated the first anniversary of her business, Austin Street Fabrics (112a S. Grafton St.).

Last Saturday, Dublin-area resident Suzann Thompson won Best of Show (Fiber) with her knitted, quilted wall hanging, at the Southwest Gourd and Fiber Fine Art Show. The show runs through the end of June at the Kerrville Arts and Cultural Center.

Teachers celebrated the last day of school for Dublin ISD with their own party, filled with laughter, hugs and their fair share of ice cream with an ice cream sundae party Friday, May 19. They were also presented their end of the year awards.
