A reporting party in the 400 block of West O’Neil advised their neighbor was playing loud music and wanted it turned down. Officer made contact and the music was turned down. A custody issue was handled.

Cross Timbers Family Services’ premiere fundraising event is right around the corner and this year’s Fourth Annual Better Beginnings Brunch will feature a new location, at Tarleton State University. The event, set for 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 27, will be held at the Barry B.

MTGCD aids Selden in water woes

Middle Trinity Groundwater Conservation District field tech Johnny Wells reported during the January MTGCD meeting Thursday, Jan. 4 that the district is now monitoring 12 wells around Selden following concerns raised during the December board meeting.

I’m wondering if many companies still rely on time clocks (to track times of arrival and departure). I clocked in and out each day when working at JCPenney in Dewitt, NY. It’s hard to believe that was 56 years ago… Clocking in was as routine as slipping out of my coat.
