Two great programs are coming the end of this month!!

This workshop will be addressing Conservation Challenges Associated with Ex-Urban Beginner Land Stewards.

The program will be April 27, 2024, from 9:00-3:00 p.m. at the Morgan Mill Community Center at 406 County Road 156 Stephenville, Texas.

Program topics will include, Planning and Goal Setting, Myth Busting: Becoming Smart with Fire and Grazing, Focus Group Discussion, Relevant Institution Presentations, Community Building.

There will be a catered lunch and light afternoon appetizers.

There will be one-hour ceu given to producers with pesticide license.

The program is sponsored byTexasAgriLifeExtension, Texas A&M University Rangeland, Wildlife & Fisheries Management and USDA.

Cross Timbers Land Management Symposium

The Cross Timbers Land Management Symposium will be held April 30, 2024 at the Texas Agrilife Research Center in Stephenville (1229 North US Highway 281 Stephenville).

Registration will begin at 9:30 with the program starting at 10:00 am and ending at 2:00 pm.

Program topics include Brush Management, Using Kaput Feral Hog Bait to Manage Feral Hogs in Texas and Livestock Market Report for Cattle, Sheep and Goats.

There will be two CEU’S (1 IPM and 1 L&R) for landowners with pesticide license.
