Shamrock Shootout

The newly-established Dublin Disc Golf Club is hosting the 2021 Shamrock Shootout at the City Park course at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 13. The doubles tournament will include three divisions: beginner, advanced and open.

St. Patrick’s Day Rodeo

The renovations of the City Park Arena by Cody and Lacey McClinton in the past year have paved the way for the 2021 St. Patrick’s Day Rodeo, promising fun for all ages. Admission to the event is $5 for patrons 10 and up with those nine years and younger admitted for free.

St. Patrick’s Day guests will once again be coming by land and air with the third annual gyrocopter fly-in at the Dublin Municipal airport. Those who haven’t been to the airport in recent years may wonder, ‘What is a gyrocopter?

Love Run 5K

The Transformation Pathway, Dublin’s Christian Women/Men Job Corps Love Run 5K and Fun Run was rescheduled to March 13 to accompany St. Patrick’s Day festivities. Check-in will be at from 7:15 a.m. to 8 a.m. with the 5K starting at 8 a.m. and the fun run at 8:15 a.m.

St. Patrick’s Day Parade

It will also include the return of the St. Patrick’s Day Parade with entries lining up at the Memorial Stadium on Grafton at 8:30 a.m. (Entries are eligible for judging for a $5 fee with winners receiving a gift basket and recognition on the downtown Corner Lot sign and social media.
