Fundraiser underway for Ambassador program

A Hope Floats Fundraiser is being created to benefit the Miss Dublin Ambassador Program. The 2020/2021 Court is looking forward to participating in parades, activities and events throughout Erath, Comanche & Hamilton County. The Ambassador Program is sponsored by the Dublin Chamber of Commerce.

DeLeon Free Press Police gave chase Saturday morning which ended in a wreck. Aaron Lee Harris, 23, was taken into custody after allegedly evading police in Dublin. The chase continued onto Highway 16 into DeLeon where he wrecked the vehicle and caught on fire.

Erath County officials reported six new cases of COVID-19 in the report from Monday, March 1 that was released the next morning. This included two positive cases within the city limits of Stephenville, one within the city limits of Dublin and three among rural residents.
