DL expiration waiver goes out of effect on April 14

The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) has officially issued the 60-day notice that the COVID-related waiver on expiration dates for driver licenses (DLs) and identification cards (IDs) ends on April 14, 2021.

February 27 At 10:26 a.m. five black cows were found on CR 544, awaiting owner. At 11:39 a.m. two dead calves and five dead coyotes were found illegally dumped off a bridge on CR 161. March 1 At 12:24 a.m. a grey Nissan Sentra was towed after being on fire and exploding on FM 914.

February 28 Caller reported that her ex boyfriend was harassing her and would like a close patrol on her residence on the 100 block of May. Caller reported that two males were in front of his house possibly smoking marijuana on the 300 block of May.

Dublin FCCLA headed to state

Dublin FCCLA is sending 20 members to state competition from April 8-April 10 in Dallas following regional competition recently. Groups must finish in the top 5 to advance to state. All of the Dublin FCCLA groups placed in the top 5 and qualified for state.

‘What’s with the Shamrocks?’

St. Patrick’s visitors coming into Dublin might wonder about the shamrocks in front of homes and businesses around town. The Dublin Rodeo Heritage Museum is hosting a shamrock decorating contest to raise money for its efforts of preserving Dublin’s rich rodeo history.
