If you are a washer player there is great news for you! Saturday, May 29th, Gustine is having its annual homecoming celebration and the washer tournament begins at 10 a.m. at the Gunter’s dryer shed.
Registration is at 9:30. Fee is $10 per team. State Washer Rules apply: 5 points for Ringer, 3 points for Lean, and 1 point for Close. Total is 21 points. Play will be at Gunter’s dryer shed.
There will also be a 42 domino tournament in Gustine at the Community Center on Main Street. It is sponsored by the Comanche National Bank. Game time will be 9:30 a.m. There is no entry fee! The players on the 1st and 2nd place teams will each receive custom domino sets. Nelo or Regular 42, no Sevens or Plunge, Best 2 out of 3 Sets play Champion.
