Comanche County Peanut Program Peanuts were once the primary crop in the county and while acreage will probably never be what is was at one time, it is on the increase. The quality of nut we can grow in the area is a bit higher here than other higher producing areas.

MS Trail Ride returning The Cowboy Capital MS Trail Ride benefitting the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, has been scheduled for May 1, 2021.

MUSEUM MATTERS

It was the biggest event that Dublin had ever seen. Over 5000 people attended. There was a band concert, a baseball game and a beauty contest along with numerous speakers. It is amazing how the city of Dublin had gathered such support not just in town, but in so many surrounding communities.

DeLeon Free Press The DeLeon Chamber of Commerce held their Awards Banquet with the theme being a “Happy Days” style 50’s Drive In with carhops. The awards were held at the Festival Grounds and began at 7 pm and presentation of award winners began at 8:20 p.m.
