Chamber seeking award nominees

The Dublin Chamber of Commerce has moved its annual awards banquet for a picnic and it is asking the community to get involved. Nominees are being sought for its annual awards and people are encouraged to email info@dublintxchamber.

MS Trail Ride returning

The Cowboy Capital MS Trail Ride benefitting the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, has been scheduled for May 1, 2021.

Early Registration set for Dublin Kindergarten/Pre-k

Early registration for Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten for 2021 -2022 will be held in the Dublin Elementary Library on April 13 2021 from 8:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.

Fundraiser underway for Ambassador program

A Hope Floats Fundraiser is being created to benefit the Miss Dublin Ambassador Program. The 2020/2021 Court is looking forward to participating in parades, activities and events throughout Erath, Comanche & Hamilton County. The Ambassador Program is sponsored by the Dublin Chamber of Commerce.

Helipad to be closed

The helicopter landing pad at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Stephenville will be closed from March 22 to April 8 (tentative) due to construction on North Graham Street (Texas State Highway 108).

Masonic Lodge hosting blood drive Saturday

The Stephenville Masonic Lodge is hosting a blood drive on Saturday, April 3 from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Lodge 267 (244 S. Columbia, Stephenville). The drive is being conducted through Carter BloodCareand benefitting Scottish Rite for Children.

100 years March 25, 1921 The Majestic Theatre posted their program for the week of March 25 through 31st. Friday played “The Butterfly Man” starring Lew Cody. Saturday was “A Western Adventure” with William Fairbanks. Monday was “Partners of Fate with Loiuse Lovely.

Hamilton Herald News Hamilton ISD decided to continue with the use of masks indoors until April 30. Superintendent Clay Tarpley said that the majority of the staff said they would like to receive their first vaccination before masks come off in the classroom.
