Erath County officials reported seven new cases of COVID-19 in the report from Thursday, April 1 that was released the next morning. All of the seven positive cases were within the city limits of Stephenville. Total deaths since March were reported at 67 by the Department of State Health Services.

BROWNWOOD Water stained; 54 degrees; 3.07 low. Largemouth bass are fair with jerk baits, bladed spinners, crankbaits, and blue/black or green/ orange skirted jigs in coves, shorelines, and timber in 3-12’. Crappie are good on minnows in brush piles and timber edges near a creek channel or drop-off.
