Erath gathers to stop silence of victims

More than 100 gathered around the Erath County Courthouse for Thursday’s Stop the Silence rally, organized by Cross Timbers Family Services. “It went exactly like we hoped,” said CTFS Executive Director Laura Gambino. “I’m very excited about the participation.

The Burn Ban was lifted for Erath county on Monday following the rains late Sunday evening/ early Monday morning. The announcement was made in a press release reading: “Erath County Judge Alfonso Campos has lifted the Erath County Burn Ban that was implemented on 12/31/2021.

Trail Ride moving to Blue Stem
