Double N host Fun Day rodeo

Double N Cowboy Church hosted some young riders learning their way around the reins during a family fun day followed by open barrel races in the Double N arena on Saturday. Events for the youngsters included poles, barrels and fox and hound events.

May 7 marks the 25th annual Cowboy Capital Trail Ride and with the milestone comes a change in venue. The trail ride, befitting the National MS Society in its crusade against multiple sclerosis, is moving from the Hunewell Ranch to the Blue Stem Ranch (west of Morgan Mill on FM 1188).

The Dublin FFA Cotton Team placed 5th out of 127 in the state with Wyatt Watson, who placed 4th individually out of 463 contestants. Teammates are Bailey Watson, Joli St. Germain, Maryli Garcia, and Skyler Morones. The Entomology team placed 6th in the State!
