The Dublin Woman’s Thursday Club had two meetings in April with the final meeting of the 2021-2022 cycle scheduled for May 2. On April 7 the ladies met at the Dublin Historical Museum, meeting hosted by Patty Hirst.

April 20 Dublin PD was advised of harassment after a subject came into the station to report receiving threatening text messages. A caller reported spotting three dogs running loose in the 200 block of O’Neil.

Hamilton Herald-News Riley Gardner Memorial staff recently installed the granite eagle on Hamilton County Veterans Memorial. The memorial will be dedicated in a ceremony on Memorial Day.

Irish Stampede returns June 11

Dublin Lions Club is hosting the 21st annual Irish Stampede the second weekend in June in honor of local dairy farmers since June is dairy month. The run - a 10-5-2K race, will be on a certified course with the 10 and 5K races to start at 7:30 a.m.

Saturday marks the 25th annual Cowboy Capital Trail Ride and with the milestone comes a change in venue. The trail ride, befitting the National MS Society in its crusade against multiple sclerosis, is moving from the Hunewell Ranch to the Blue Stem Ranch (west of Morgan Mill on FM 1188).
