Greens Creek Baptist Church, also known as Greens Creek Nation, was on hand to help out for the annual Big Feed at Tarleton for the Baptist Student Mission (BSM) to welcome students back to school for the fall semester.
Submitted photo At one time there were two school stores. A two story rock building was across from the high school. A smaller building was across from the elementary school. Both sold candy and hamburgers so they were destinations for students at lunchtime. In the1941 yearbook there was a small rock building called the Lions Den that may have been a school store.

There was a loud blast from the horn in the high school and a cheer from the students in Dublin. It was lunch time. The “Little Store” across from the high school was a prime destination for some. When you would walk in the front door there was a jukebox in the back corner.
