Educational/Fish Day set for Oct. 1

The Stephenville Area Elks Lodge Fun and Educational/ Fish Day is set to hook up some fun Oct. 1 for youth ages 9 to 13.

There will be fishing available for youth, a water safety program by the Army Corps of Engineers, a Hall of Shame Trailer that will be present, Texas Parks and Wildlife, fishing 101, knottyping, casting and more. The event will be held at Copperas Creek and Proctor Lake from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. For more information call Larry Stanford at 254-967-4446.
