Greens Creek Hosting VBS

Greens Creek Baptist Church is hosting Spark Studios, a Vacation Bible School where imagination is ignited and creativity is awakened. The VBS will be held Monday, July 25 to Friday, July 29 from 8:45 a.m. to noon.

Purves Baptist to host rummage sale

Purves Baptist will host a rummage sale Friday, July 22 and Saturday, July 23 from 8 a.m. to 2 p..m. each day. All proceeds will be going towards repairs to the church building. There will also be hotdogs and refreshments at the event.

Community Table in-person again

The Community Table at Dublin First United Methodist Church is now serving meals in the fellowship hall as well as performing deliveries. The meals are free to the community the last Wednesday of every month, from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

One of the early service stations of Dublin was called Camp Dublin. Its opening was announced in the May 2, 1924 Dublin Progress. It was located at the corner of North Patrick and Clinton Streets. Dublin Dairy Queen is located there now. William Mayfield was the manager when the station opened.
