DHS golfers swing into season

The Dublin High School golf team started their season Feb. 22-23 at the Coleman Country Club where Charlie Rasberry led the pack with 111. “We battled the wind on a fun and challenging course,” said DHS golf coach Wes Grisham. “It wasn’t too bad for our first tournament.

Fox Tourney set April 13

Tarleton Football announced Wednesday that their 38th Annual Bobby Fox Memorial Golf Tournament will take place on Thursday, April 13, at Canyon West Golf Course in Weatherford, Texas. Registration is now open for the scramble tournament.

Cards end playoff run

The Lingleville Cardinals basketball team ended their season as Bi-District Champions after falling 49-43 to the Cherokee Indians Friday night in Brownwood at the Area Championship game. The team was 18-12 for the season and 8-4 in district.

Texans spring game April 15

The Texans will be back on the field in less than a month to start spring football, and for the second straight year, they’ll conclude the training with the Tarleton Football Spring Game. The Texans will play an intrasquad game on Saturday, April 15, at 6 p.m.

Coaches, athletes picked for FCA games

Dublin coaches and athletes were honored recently as selections were made for the 2023 Fellowship of Christian Athletes All-Star Festival set for June 4-10. This 2023 FCA All-Star Festival is scheduled for June 4-10 in four different Big Country cities.
