GOOD. Water slightly stained; 78-82 degrees; 5.91 feet below pool. Black bass to 7.57 pounds are good on jigs, crankbaits and shaky heads in 6-15 feet of water. Crappie are good in brush piles on jigs in 8-14 feet of water, and on minnows around the docks.

The Dublin Lions 7-on-7 football team is into the 2023 season with recent appearances at home and away. On May 20, The Lions got home field advantage as they went 2-1 on the Cervetto Field turf. The Dublin boys started with a 20-0 win over DeLeon and a 26-13 triumph over Comanche JV.

Dublin Lions and Lady Lions are inviting kids 6-15 to Football and Basketball Camps Tuesday through May 25. The cost for each camp is $25 and includes a t-shirt to be handed out the final day. The Fun in the Sun Football camp will be held from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m.

The 2023 Lingleville High School Prom was held May 13 at Bella Vita Ranch with a them of ‘Black & White.’ The King and Queen (left) crowned were Damian Ortuno and Araceli Rangel (photo submitted) as students and guests enjoyed the classy ambience and refreshments and hit the dance floor.

Parents and Dublin ISD band fans could see mouse ears and even a princess during the spring concert Thursday, May 11 at the Dublin Secondary school gym. The apparel fit some Disney-inspired selections played near the end of the concert to celebrate the band heading to Walt Disney World this week where they will have fun and participate in a clinic to record a piece of a Disney score that will be put on top of a classic Disney scene.
