Workouts starting soon

Dublin High School athletic director Greg Hardcastle announced that workouts will start for fall sports (football, volleyball and cross country) on Monday, July 31. Schedules were being determined as of press time. To participate in workouts, students need to registered for DHS.

DHS FCCLA student snags silver state medal

Dublin High School was well represented in the national Family, Community and Career Leaders of America (FCCLA) competition as NavaLee White participated in the Job Interview Level 2 Contest July 1-7 in Denver, Colorado. White was selected as one of the 8,000 across the U.S.

Tarleton to host track camp

Tarleton Track and Field is set to host five camps in Stephenville this summer. The Texans will host all five camps at Oscar H. Frazier Memorial Track beginning with a high jump clinic on July 12.

The Dublin Baseball and Softball Association is hosting the Dublin Derby fundraiser Saturday, July 1 starting at noon in the City Park. The coed tourney costs $25 per player with winners competing for bragging rights and rings.

Tarleton Athletics hosted 269 golfers at the 32nd Annual Perry Elliott Plowboy Shootout, presented by First Financial Bank, on June 23 at Squaw Creek Golf Course in Willow Park, Texas.
