Dublin Lions added to the win column last week as they traveled to Eastland Jan. 13 and hosted Early Jan. 16.The Lions toppled Eastland 78-41 and leading the way to that victory was Jayden Deleon with 19 points, 9 rebounds, 6 assists and 10 steals.

Lions battle Breck hold

The Dublin Lions clawed their way through a fierce home court battle against Breckenridge Friday, Jan. 9.“We had a tight game early but had a brutal 2nd Quarter on offense,” said head Dublin boys basketball coach Wes Grisham on the 58-37 loss.

Lady Cards split wins

The Lingleville Lady Cardinals split wins last week, starting with a 42-20 victory over Three Way Tuesday, Jan. 6.“It was a must win game for us if we want to make it into the playoffs, and we got it done,” said head Lingleville girls basketball coach Brandon Haught.

Lady Lions continue road to recovery

The Dublin Lady Lions battled Breckenridge and Comanche as they continued to heal several injuries in the roster.“We didn’t have all of our starters against Comanche and moved some JV up,” said head girls basketball coach Waylon Salinas of the Tuesday, Jan. 6 bout.
