The Dublin Lady Lions were looking for a win this week after matches with Millsap and Tolar.
The Lady Lions traveled to Millsap Friday, March 6 and ended with a 13-3 loss to the home team. Cassidy Adair led a bat with two hits while Olivia Salyer racked up a run, a run batted in and a triple. Jocelyn Perez and Yasmin Esparza each snagged a hit and a run.
Pitcher Kinley Pursley racked up 5 strikeouts against the opposition with 15 hits in her turn on the mound.
The Friday game followed a Tuesday, March 3 battle against the Tolar Rattlers. The visitors took the win 16-0 but not before Salyer and Adair scored hits and Izzy Cervantes stole a base. The Dublin girls also traveled to Eula March 6 and 7, where they went 1-2 in tourney play. The Lady Lions rallied to a 13-7 win over DeLeon and fought hard in 1-2 and 4-14 losses to Cisco and Eula respectively.
