The Dublin Lions went 2-0 at the DeLeon Baseball tournament Friday, March 6 before rainfall stopped play the following day.“I’m proud of these kids,” said head baseball coach Andrew Norwood. “They are working hard to improve their skills every day. They are putting the work in and you can see it!

The Lingleville Cardinals took gold as a team Tuesday, March 10 at the Iredell Invitational on the Squaw Valley Lakes golf course. The finish came thanks to its top 4 finishers: Brody Hurt (3rd place individual with 85 strokes), Tate Jones (4th place individual with 86), Garrett Hurt (7th place individual with 88) and Grayson Stewart (8th place individual with 91). The Dublin Lions hit the links March 2 as they started the 2026 golf season at the Squaw Valley Lakes course. Joe Salinas led the pack, medaling in 4th place with 89 strokes.He was followed by Alex Teten with 101, Hudsen Joslin with 102, Hayden Milburn 1ith 106 and Jitse DeBoer with 111.
