Dublin School Board President Jeff Weaver stepped down during a regular Monday night meeting addressing several staff positions. Weaver reportedly stepped down so that his wife, Lisa Weaver, could accept a position teaching junior high art. Bob Cervetto will fill Weaver’s seat until the May elections. Vice President Kent Crouch stepped up as President, and the board will re-organize in January.
The Board also voted to hire Mikayla Pfliiger for the school’s intervention position with Jenny Bailon to assist.
The board also extended Superintendent Melissa Summers’ contract for another year after a positive evaluation and the board also conducted selfevaluations.
