Weekly COVID Report - March 5, 2021

Erath County officials reported one new case of COVID-19 in the report from Monday, March 4 that was released Friday morning. The sole case was in a rural resident of the county. Total deaths since March were reported at 67 by the Department of State Health Services.

Winter Storm Uri Ag damages estimated at $600 million

Winter Storm Uri, which blasted through the entire state of Texas, caused at least $600 million in agricultural losses, according to preliminary data from Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service agricultural economists.
