Stop the Silence Tuesday

Dublin City Council signed a proclamation in support of Stop the Silence at the Council meeting Monday, April 8 in preparation of the free event set for the Erath County Courthouse at 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 16.

Volunteer needs help for treatment

Rachel Williams Maddry, 52, is a community volunteer known to many through her work with the Dublin Baseball and Softball Association. Now her family and friends are asking for help as she undergoes fighting thyroid cancer.

More than 180 kids and 50 coaches stood in the City Park baseball field as the Dublin Baseball Softball Association kicked off its new year with an opening ceremony Saturday, April 6 before games commenced all day.
