Ryan and Lizzie advanced to finals where Ryan placed 8th in Prose and Lizzie placed 2nd in Poetry, earning a spot to compete at the State UIL Academic meet in Austin, May 13-15. The Dublin Theatre Department will do a final public performance of its UIL One Act Play at 6:30 p.m. Monday, May 6 and each of these students will also perform the pieces they competed with. MS Trail Ride set May 4

In 1996, members of the Stephenville’s Community Support Group for MS were asked by the Lone Star Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society if they wanted to host a traditional walk event for a fundraiser. One member of the group replied “This is cowboy country; we don’t walk, we ride.

RD packs Backwoods with backers

Backwoods was filled with 90’s rock and community support as the first official Revitalize Dublin fundraiser pushed past its $5,000 goal to raise $7,000.“We are completely blown away with the generosity of the community,” said Revitalize Dublin’s Lori Beggs.

County purchases land for new 911 tower

The county has agreed to purchase an acre of land for a new 911 tower being built by North Central Texas Emergency Communications District.Erath County Judge Brandon Huckabee explained that the tower was to aid with the new digital radio system the county is moving towards for first responders.
