As the annual 9-1-1 Awards Gala approaches, three Stephenville dispatchers have been nominated for awards.Stephenville PD dispatchers Danielle Heizer and Cassidy Schedule were nominated for Team of the Year after their efforts to remain calm helped save a victim’s life.

An exceptionally wide load carrying materials for nuclear plants stalled traffic on Hwy. 377 Thursday, May 23 as it traveled from Rockdale to Eunice, New Mexico. It left Rockdale April 29 after being barged from Florida.
