Dublin doing Day of Cowboy right

Lilly G is setting up a daylong schedule of fun and entertainment benefitting the Dublin Rodeo Heritage Association as they host a National Day of the Cowboy event in Dublin from 10 a.m.-11 p.m. on Saturday, July 27.

City abates 30+ vehicles in code cleanup

Dublin Police and the city of Dublin executed a warrant Tuesday, June 25, removing more than 30 vehicles and scrap material from a property in the city limits, capping off several months of trying to resolve code issues.

Firework, water safety urged

This year there is no restriction on the sale of fireworks inside Erath County and fireworks will be sold through midnight on July 4. Water safety at area lakes is also advised throughout the holiday week.
