Local dispatcher receives award

The North Central Texas Emergency Communications District (NCT9-1-1) hosted its annual 9-1-1 Gala June 14, in Fort Worth to honor the accomplishments of local 9-1-1 telecommunicators and Emergency Communications Centers (ECCs).

Gorditas restaurant brings authentic flavors to Dublin

A vibrant taste of Mexico has come to Dublin with the opening of Gorditas Durango restaurant, promising to delight locals with its authentic and delicious Gorditas.

Sales tax up for Dublin

Dublin sales tax collections were up in May at 8.89%, compared to May 2023, according to the state sales tax report released by Texas Comptroller Glenn Hegar.For the month of May, Dublin received $46,850.97, compared to $42,989.18 in May 2023.

JJ Hampton to be honored in Cowgirl Hall of Fame

The National Cowgirl Museum and Hall of Fame will welcome four new Inductees including Stephenville’s JJ Hampton at the 48th Annual Induction Luncheon and Ceremony Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2024 at Dickies Arena.

Fossil Rim welcomes new baby giraffe

Fossil Rim has a new addition – a brand new baby giraffe.The new baby was born to experienced mom, Snorgie, in late June and is doing well.Snorgie is the mother to one of the four female calves born in March of 2023, making her yearling daughter, Waffles, a big sister.
