Double N hosts last Play Day of the summer

Kids and adults showed off their horsemanship skills during Double N’s last family playday of the season Saturday, June 8. More photos of the fun will be uploaded to the Dublin Citizen Facebook page. 
State UIL Travis Spharler earned 6th Place State Medalist in UIL Technical Theater Design Set Design division 1A3A. As a freshman, he earned the award for redesigning the set for the hit broadway musical, Hadestown, which was a contest Dublin had never competed in previously.

Minding their manners: kids learn etiquette with CTFAC

In a lot of ways manners are a lost art, but over the summer Cross Timbers Fine Arts Council imparts the knowledge of how to shake hands, speak to others and much more during its annual Manners Camp.

DISD employees get pay increases, efficiency bonus

School district employees will be receiving raises and a 1-time efficiency payment after a Monday, June 17 Dublin Independent School District Board Meeting.The meeting was held at noon in order for the board to complete its Team of Eight training afterwards.

Dublin ISD Assistant Superintendent Terri White has dedicated her life to the district and after 32 years, she is closing the chapter as she enters retirement.

This Saturday Otherworldly Dublin MarketThis is the weekend for the Dublin Market, and this will be a special one from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, June 15 at Wright Park.  The Market will be part of Dublin’s first celebration of a historic UFO sighting.  It will be fun!
