The Dublin Baseball and Softball Association is hosting the Dublin Derby fundraiser Saturday, July 1 starting at noon in the City Park. The coed tourney costs $25 per player with winners competing for bragging rights and rings.

Plowboy Shootout draw 269 golfers

Tarleton Athletics hosted 269 golfers at the 32nd Annual Perry Elliott Plowboy Shootout, presented by First Financial Bank, on June 23 at Squaw Creek Golf Course in Willow Park, Texas.

2023 Dublin High School graduate Chris Teten donned a Dublin cap one more time before heading to play for McMurry University in the fall, claiming MVP in the Big Country Fellowship of Christian Athletes All-Star Baseball game.

80+ Stampede in Lions Club run

The annual Irish Stampede 10, 5 and 2K drew more than 80 runners early Saturday morning as they headed out the gate by Dublin Public Library. Prizes were awarded in each age division as well as to the overall top male and female runners listed below.
