The Dublin community gets a chance to Meet the Lions tonight (Thursday) at 7 p.m. in the Dublin High School Gym. The annual event gives a spotlight to this year’s athletes and coaching staff.

BROWNWOOD GOOD. Water slightly stained; 87-89 degrees; 5.83 feet below pool. Black bass to 6.64 pounds are good on shaky heads, glide baits, crankbaits and soft plastic worms in 5-18 feet of water. Crappie are fair in brush piles on jigs and on minnows around the docks in 10-13 feet of water.

DHS workouts start Monday

Workouts start Monday, July 31 for football, volleyball and cross country. All athletes are asked to have the following items completed before July 31: ALL students must turn in a Medical History Form prior to workouts. Incoming 7th, 9th & 11th graders must get a physical this year.

Dublin FFA members Joli St. Germain, Jaclyn Gibson, Paige Wilson and Mariana Ortiz were awarded Lonestar FFA Degrees at the 95th Texas FFA State Convention in Dallas on July 12. The State/Lone Star FFA Degree is the highest degree of membership the State FFA Association can award.
