BROWNWOOD GOOD. Water slightly stained; 65-70 degrees; 9.19 feet below pool. Black bass to 11.17 pounds are good on topwater walking baits, Alabama rigs, jigs, and crankbaits in 4-18 feet of water . The bass are in post spawn and following the shad spawn.

Tarleton Tennis is hosting one camp this summer, set for the week of Memorial Day. The Texans are inviting boys and girls between the ages of 6-17 to attend their summer camp from May 30 through June 2. Participants will learn from Tarleton coaches, who just wrapped up their 2022-23 campaign.
Dublin High School senior Lions were escorted by family on the Tarleton State University diamond Friday, April 28 for the last home game, which had been moved from DHS following the storms last week. Seniors honored were: Chris Teten, Cooper Pickett, Dalan Rasberry, Jose Lopez, Cesar Caldera, Jonathan Campos, John Velazquez and Juan Cardenas. Submitted photo

Following the rain and hail that hit the Dublin area last week, the Dublin Lions switched venues from DHS to Tarleton State University due to ground conditions for the final game of the 2022-23 season.

Dublin Lion athletes Dalan Rasberry and Cameron Patton traveled to Lubbock for regional track competition last week. Senior Dalan Rasberry narrowly missed his state bid with a fourth place long jump finish of 22’5.75”.

Dublin Lions increased their season stats after splitting losses in games last week. Vs. Comanche Dublin began the week triumphantly with an 8-5 away win against the Comanche Indians on April 18.

Dublin High School is sending two athletes to Regional competition on April 28 and 29 after they placed high at last week’s Area meet in Jacksboro. Senior Dalan Rasberry placed first in the long jump with total of 22’3.75” to advance to the next round.
