Lion fans called for Sr. Night

The Dublin Lions were surprised by Clifton Friday, Nov. 1 in a 56-28 away loss but the Lions still have a shot at bi-district playoffs if they can come out on top in their final home game Friday, Nov. 8.

Lady Lions end season

The Dublin Lady Lions ended their season with a battle against Early at home Tuesday, Oct. 29.Senior Lady Lions were honored with a final walk across the court escorted by family prior to the game which ended in Early’s favor. Dublin scored 10,12 and 7 in the three sets.

The Dublin Jr. High Lions showed great fight in games against Eastland and Clifton in recent weeks.“Seventh graders had an unbelievable game last night against Eastland,” said coach Hayden Hoerdeman of the Oct. 24 battle.

The Lingleville Lady Cardinals volleyball team maintained its state ranking of 19 as of Monday, Nov. 4 while they readied to play Zephyr in the Area playoffs this weekend. They will play Saturday, Nov. 9 at 2:30 p.m. at Stephenville High School.

The Lingleville Lady Cardinals volleyball girls were sitting at 19th in state at the beginning of this week after advancing their win streak to 13.On Oct. 22, the Lady Cards traveled to Gustine where they won in four sets.

Dublin Lady Lions fans witnessed a barn burner Friday, Oct. 25 in the Neff gym as their battle with the Eastland Lady Mavs went five sets deep.Eastland came up quick winning the first set 25-16, VB but Dublin found their footing and claimed the following sets 25-22 and 25- 17.

Lions rope Mavs 35-28

Lions Fans could feel the energy grow through Cervetto Field Friday, Oct. 25 as the home team fought to a 35-28 defeat of the Eastland Mavericks, securing the first win of the season.
