Dublin Lions were sitting at second place in district following a 42-36 win over Breckenridge Friday, Jan. 3.

“I’m really proud of how our guys handled a rough and physical game,” said head Dublin boys basketball coach Wes Grisham. “We wanted the victory more than they did and executed on offense and defense to shut them out.”

“We knew this was the game on the road that would put us in the driver seat for 2nd place in district,” he added.

Heading into this week, Peaster was in first place while Breckenridge and Comanche were tied for third.

Leading this charge was Alex Teten with 21 points, 4 rebounds and 3 steals. Kaden Gaitan scored 6 points, 2 rebounds, 3 steals, and 6 assists.
