DHS students advancing in UIL academics

Dublin High School has several students advancing to Regionals in UIL academic events after placing at district. They are: Ayush Patel (first place Copy Editing), Mia Jaimes (third place Poetry) and Nicole Foster (third place Editorial Writing).

The Dublin High School Golf team’s season is in full swing with a strong appearance last week at Shady Oaks Country Club in Baird on Thursday. DHS golf coach Wes Grisham reported his players faced windy weather and a narrow course as they strived to hit their marks.

Tarleton hosting summer VB camps

The Tarleton Volleyball program will be hosting four summer camps over the months of June and July for young athletes between first grade and senior in high school. Elite Camps are open to high-school age athletes for a total cost of $100 per camp.

Dublin High School hosted 14 schools on Thursday during its invitational track meet. Staff, students and Dublin Athletic Booster Club members and volunteers could be seen busily running around Cervetto Field and the Secondary Campus to accommodate the athletes for a successful event.
