The Dublin Lions 7-on-7 football boys went 3 and 1 in tournament play Saturday at Hamilton.
Dublin started out the tournament with a 20-7 win over Rogers, which Dublin Coach Grag Hardcastle is historically a good team in a period of rebuild after losing several senior players.
Dublin followed this with a 34-0 shutout over Hamilton in a game in which Dublin made several interceptions.
The Lions qualified for the semifinals with a 28-12 win over Hico.
In the semifinals versus Millsap, Dublin was down but tied it up 20-20 in the last play when Chris Teten threw a jumping pass to Dalan Rasberry and the team succeeded in a twopoint play afterwards. Millsap claimed the win in overtime.
