Erath offers free COVID testing

Erath County officials have announced free COVID testing for residents in the following press release: Erath County Office of Emergency Management under the direction of County Judge Alfonso Campos has ordered the availability of Free COVID Rapid testing at the Erath County Courthouse. “To receive testing, you must first call the County Emergency Management Coordinator (EMC) Cyndi Smith at 254-965-1326 to schedule an appointment.

Freddie Lee Decker Jr., 53, went to be with the Lord and his parents in heaven on January 1, 2022 in Odessa, Tx. Freddie was born on November 8, 1968 in Dublin, TX to his parents Freddie Lee Decker Dolores Canas-Alvereze Decker.

Michael Dean Sullivan, 71 of Cisco, Texas, passed away on January 08, 2022. He was born to Lee Edwards Sullivan and Adelia Lavon Darland, October 28,1950 in Morton, Texas.

LITTLE

Richard “Rick” Marlan Little, 77, passed away on January 10, 2022 at his residence in Azle, TX. Rick was born on June 17, 1944 in San Angelo, TX to his parents Norman Leslie Little and Ruby Belle (Garrett) Little. He was a U.S. Marine and a retired TXU Energy employee. Rick married Deloris Parker on September 19, 1972 and they raised two children together. He loved to garden, fish, work on motors, and especially loved his family.

Robert “Rob” Wayne Job, 48, went to be with the Lord on December 31, 2021 at his residence in Stephenville, TX. Rob was born on January 6, 1973 in Everett, WA to his parents Wilbur Dennis Job and Marian Jane (Kirschenmann) Job. He was a truck driver who worked for Halliburton, CSI for twenty plus years currently hauling sand and gravel. Rob was building arenas and roadways for Mr. Fambro. He worked in the Gulf Coast, off shores of Angola, Norway, Thailand, and Columbia. Rob loved team roping and did very well at it.

Liddie “Sissy” Jean Hodges, 63, went to be with the Lord on December 15, 2021, in Fort Worth, TX. Sissy was born on April 4, 1958, in Hot Springs, AR to her parents Billy Rayburn Reed and Dorothy May. She married her husband Robert Hodges on April 16, 2005 and raised three children together. Sissy was a factory worker for Appleton for 20 years. She loved fishing and outdoor activities. She enjoyed spending time with her grandbabies.

ANDRADE

Yanira Guadalupe Andrade passed away on December 17th, 2021 as the result of a car accident. Yanira was born on February 1, 1980 in Mexico to her parents Sanjuana Tello De Leon and Jesus Manuel De Leon and was one of five children and was admired greatly by her siblings. Yanira was a graduate of Dublin High School in 1998 and went on to become a CNA working for Western Hill Rehab and Nursing Center.

Arlis Dewayne Sims, 82, of Lingleville, died Wednesday, December 15, 2021. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, December 20th at Stephenville Funeral Home with Werth Mayes officiating.
