John L. Tucker , 84 was born in Dublin Texas on April 13, 1937 and died on March 28, 2022. John was the last of 12 children born to Clarence and Ethel Childress Tucker. John attended Dublin schools until he joined the Navy in 1956. After his tour of duty was over John went to work for the Federal Aviation Association where he retired. John and his wife, Christine traveled extensively after his retirement. John was preceded in death by his wife, Christine Greer Tucker in 2012.John was also preceded in death by his son, John Kevin who passed away in 2010. John is survived by his son Greg and grandsons Braedon and Ty Tucker. He is also survived by numerous beloved nieces and nephews. John will be dearly missed by many friends and family.

Margaret Westbrook White, 78, passed away peacefully in Comanche Hospital, surrounded by her family on March 30, 2022. Margaret “ Margie” was born November 19,1943, to Hiram Whittington Westbrook and Gertrude Wiggins Westbrook in San Angelo, Texas.

Lawrence Handley Mulloy, 78, passed away on March 28, 2022 in The Woodlands, TX. Lawrence was born on May 2, 1943 in Dublin, TX to his parents Guy Handley Mulloy and Nellie Marie (Lusk) Mulloy. He married Linda Walker on August 20, 1965. He was a health inspector for the state of Texas. He had pastored at multiple churches across central Texas. Lawrence enjoyed reading and being with his grandchildren. He was a member of The Woodlands First Baptist Church, the Hamilton Masonic Lodge and Eastern Star Hamilton and Scottish Rite of Waco.

Leslie Iris Elliott, 92, went to be with the Lord on March 26, 2022 in Granbury, TX. Leslie was born on November 1, 1929 in McCamey, TX to her parents Wayne Nolan Boyd and Cleo Belle (Byrd) Boyd. She married George Elliott. Leslie was a General Dynamics Fabricator. She was also a member of the Baptist Church in Granbury. Leslie enjoyed playing cards and games and was an excellent cook. She loved to read and loved knowing what all her family was up to.

Patricia Sue “Patti” “Pat” (Shillingburg) (Smith) Wall peacefully passed away March 24, 2022, at her lifelong home in Dublin, TX. Patti was born on September 29th, 1941, in Dublin, TX, to her parents, the late Wilson Audrey Shillingburg and Dorothy “Dot” Belle (Alexander) Shillingburg.

Frank Roland Burney, 85, passed away at his residence on March 26, 2022 in Dublin, TX. Frank was born on October 15, 1936 in Erath County, TX to his parents William Robert Burney and Stella Mae (White) Burney. He married Violet Mae (Gray) Burney. He was an auto mechanic who loved to fish, garden, and ride motorcycles.

Ruth Ellen Garnett, 74, passed away on March 21, 2022 at Lonestar Senior Care in Stephenville, TX. Ruth was born on May 19, 1947 in Matador, TX to her parents Leslie Tutt Garnett and Lois Odessa (Cook) Garnett. She was a retired teacher and real-estate agent. Ruth was a very involved member of the Grace Community Church in Roswell, NM up until her illness and was moved to Stephenville. She loved painting portraits of landscapes and animals. Ruth was also an excellent seamstress.

Graveside service for Ava Lee Hallmark, 90, of Lamesa will be held Thursday, March 24, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Dawson County Cemetery with Pastor Ben Phipps and Stephen Gary officiating. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 23, 2022 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Branon Funeral Home.
