Mandatory meeting set for FFA exhibitors

Dublin FFA is hosting a mandatory meeting on Monday, Aug 24 at 7 p.m. in the ag building. Students need to attend if they are planning to show at county or major events for agriscience fair, livestock and/or ag mechanics.

Stephenville sets proposed tax rate

Stephenville City Council approved the city’s proposed maximum tax rate at the Tuesday, Aug. 4 meeting.The city set its proposed rate at $.4297 per $100 valuation, which is the voter approval rate.The Voter-Approval tax rate is the rate that will increase revenue 3.

DISD makes the grade with ‘A’ rating

Great news has been received for Dublin ISD as they have earned an ‘A’ rating from the Texas Education Agency, one of only three districts in Erath County to receive the prestigious rating.

Rodeo set this weekend at City Park Arena

This weekend will offer tons of rodeo fun as Byrn Rodeo Productions and sponsor Triple Crown Ford will once again light up the City Park Arena with the annual UPRA/CPRA sanctioned rodeo.The rodeo will be held Friday, Aug. 21 and Saturday, Aug. 22, starting each night at 7:30 p.m.
