We are extending an invitation to all persons age 50 to 106 years old to join us for exercises from Monday through Friday at 9:30 a.m. We are now meeting at the new “Community Building” between First National Bank and Dairy Queen.

100 years ago August 19, 1921 The Dublin and Comanche Christian Sunday School Picnic was to be held the following Sunday on Walnut Creek a mile south of Proctor. The morning service included sunday school, a short sermon, a song service and communion.

Library garden has space available, workday Saturday

The Dublin Public Library has space available in its community garden and is hosting a planting workday starting Saturday (Sept. 21) at 8 a.m. The garden is open to members of the public who want space to raise plants such as fresh fruits and veggies and the library has resources to help gardeners.

August 7 At 2:01 p.m. a twovehicle accident occurred between a pickup and a tractor on FM 219 North at CR 392 temperarily trapping one person who was taken to the hospital. August 9 At 10:41 a.m. a five gallon oil drum spilled all over the roadway of FM 219 at FM 2303, TxDot was notified.
