The Dublin ISD School Board approved one-time efficiency payments for employees and reviewed other matters during its regular board meeting Monday night.
The meeting began with a special recognition of former school board member Charlie Bradberry who resigned earlier this year.
The efficiency payments approved were $750 for professional and $500 for at-will employees, mirroring the ones offered in previous years. The payments will be included in November paychecks.
The School Board voted to re-approve Mac McKinnon as the school’s representative on the Erath County Appraisal District.
The board also approved a resolution regarding the Local Remote Learning Program, allowing for students having to quarantine for COVID exposure to participate in remote learning.
The board was also presented with construction projects for the district with administration reporting that they would be closing the open end on the storage under the home bleachers at Bob and Norma Cervetto Field.
The need was expressed, citing kids getting into the storage area.
There was also discussion of the potential sale of property at 309 E. College. A tenant is reportedly living in the property but will be moving out at the end of the month.
